New market research being released this week asks about lesbian and gay marketing - can companies use support for gay consumers as a way to drive sales?

AGLCC's monthly networking luncheon will be hosted at the El Sol y La Luna from 11:30 AM - 1 PM. This month will feature a panel of wellness experts. The cost is $15 for members and $20 for future members and includes lunch.

This month will feature: Myers Briggs expert, Steve Whiteford discussing the way in which insights in the various personality "types" are pivotal to deeper personal insights, better business partnerships, building effective teams and creating dynamic relationships.

This month's AGLCC luncheon will feature guest speaker Mark Walters, a city planner for the City of Austin, discussing the Imagine Austin Comprehensive Plan, a long-term vision of Austin's future.

The Austin Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (AGLCC) announced that Jon Hockenyos, president of Austin-based consulting firm TXP, will be the guest speaker at the October monthly network luncheon to be held at the Alamo Drafthouse on South Lamar.
